The project title “Artopia”, derived from the Greek topos place, emphasizes the creative potential of children to immerse themselves in the history of the Berlin district of Lichtenberg with art and to design colourful, (utopian) city (dream) spaces. Together with artists, the participating children playfully explore global transformation processes using the example of local diversity. Children Power for future in Berlin, Lichtenberg!

Künstlerische Leitung des partizipativen Kunstprojekts „Kunstopie“ für Kinder die in Risikolagen aufwachsen, organisiert von kiezkieken e.V., gefördert vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung / Künste öffnen Welten.
Der Projekttitel Kunstopie, abgeleitet von griech. topos Ort, hebt das kreative Potential von Kindern hervor, mit Kunst in die Geschichte des Berliner Bezirks Lichtenberg einzutauchen und bunte, (utopische) Stadt(T)räume zu gestalten. Gemeinsam mit Künstler*innen erforschen die teilnehmenden Kinder am Beispiel lokaler Vielfalt spielerisch globale Transformationsprozesse. Children Power for future in Berlin, Lichtenberg!
